Open Access Policy and Terms of Use of Copyrighted Materials

The journal implements an Open Access policy, considering the free dissemination of scientific results and the open exchange of knowledge as a necessary condition for the development of science and society.

All publications are placed in open access without time limits and without charging a fee immediately after the publication of the corresponding issue, which complies with the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI). Users have the right to freely familiarize themselves with the materials, download, copy and distribute them for educational and scientific purposes, provided that the authorship and bibliographic data of the source are indicated.

Full texts of articles are available in real time on the official website of the journal in the "Archive" section. Published articles and extended annotations in English are also open for free viewing on the publication's website. Extended English-language annotations are indexed and analyzed by international scientometric and bibliographic databases.

Copies of articles in PDF format are additionally placed on the website of the V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine.

The licensing policy of the publication is consistent with the main international approaches to open access and archiving of scientific materials.

The journal adheres to the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license, which allows you to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, cite or link to the full texts of publications, provided that the authorship is indicated. A license agreement is concluded with the author. The use of journal materials for commercial purposes is not allowed.

The distribution of copyright is carried out under the terms of the "License Agreement for the Use of the Work" (attached), according to which all rights to publish, translate, replicate and sell the article are transferred to the editorial office; at the same time, this agreement provides (clause 7) that the author retains moral rights, i.e. the author remains the author, the author's name must be indicated, the author may make copies for himself or colleagues, but not for sale, he has the right to include parts of this article in his future books, dissertations or lectures.

 

Self-Archiving Policy

The journal supports open access principles and allows authors to deposit versions of their manuscripts in institutional or other repositories of their choice without restrictions.

The following terms apply:

  • Published version (Version of Record): may be deposited immediately after publication.

All deposited versions must include:

  • full bibliographic citation of the published article;
  • a DOI link to the final published version on the journal’s website.

Authors must clearly indicate the version of the manuscript when depositing.

No embargo period is applied.

The journal recommends that all deposited versions be shared under the same license as the published article.
